News 12 - Middle schoolers participate in career fair at Middlesex County College
Hundreds of middle school students participated in a career fair on Tuesday. Junior Achievement of New Jersey hosted a job fair at Middlesex County College.
Students went around the room to visit different companies. They asked questions and filled out sheets to learn the job requirements.
“It's amazing. I love how there's many companies here, and I love talking to people that have similar interests as me,” says Angel Cruz, of South River.
Organizers say that they hope the students find their career paths. “It could be life-changing for a young person if they really connect with the organizations or an occupation that they can really focus on,” says Junior Achievement CEO James Horne. The event also showed teens what kinds of careers are out there.
