JANJ Releases Video of 2020 NJ Business Hall of Fame Virtual Event

Junior Achievement of New Jersey has released a final production video of its 2020 New Jersey Business Hall of Fame virtual event, available here.

Held on Nov. 19, the event honored 63 Laureate Legacies and highlighted a host of JA High School Heroes as leaders of tomorrow.

“This was a very inspirational event that highlighted the transformative impact our mentors can make by inspiring and preparing our youth,” said Catherine Milone, president of JANJ.

One JANJ student, named Kayva, who took part in the event said she found the program “really inspiring” and “wrote down a few things I took away from the session that I will carry with me. Thank you so much to the entire JANJ team for organizing this event and constantly supporting and empowering students in their endeavors.”

Junior Achievement is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures and make smart academic and economic choices.

JANJ’s core programs are steeped in work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

During the event, NJBIA President Michele Siekerka offered advice to young leaders of tomorrow to “bring passion to your mission” and the importance of building a strong team. She also credited JANJ for so many years of success.

“We are all proud to be part of the organization,” Siekerka said. “Anything we can do to support the mission, we’re here.”
