Junior Achievement Ed Center
Junior Achievement Ed Center – Students from Sayen and Morgan Elementary schools in Hamilton and Plainfield Academy for the Arts and Advanced Studies tackle financial literacy at the new Junior Achievement Center in Edison. Junior Achievement offers high-impact education programs at no-cost to NJ schools that help meet state standards and graduation requirements. Their Finance Park program meets the NJ mandated graduation requirement for Financial Literacy education. After completing teacher-led classroom curriculum, students take a field trip to the Center to put knowledge into practice.. At Finance Park, middle and high schoolers create a budget for a fictional household based on a given adult persona, and at JA BizTown, 5th & 6th graders role-play as employees in mini-storefronts to create a working economy.
