With the theme of the night regarded as Celebrating the Past, Present, and Future, the unveiling of the Career Pathways Center will be a momentous occasion, which will bring together supporters from across the state.

“We invite the community to join us in unveiling the Career Pathways Center at the Spring Benefit & Silent Auction” said Ashley Donecker, Acting President for JA of New Jersey. “Timing is everything, and what better time to reveal a special project our JA team has worked on diligently over the past 2 years for the betterment of the New Jersey educational and business communities as we help to build our state’s workforce pipeline. We can’t wait to re-open our doors and host a fun evening.”

The JA Education Center has undergone major construction over the past few months to build a complementary place on-site where young people can match their personal interests to future careers. Infused with state-of-the-art technology, this immersive, hands-on experience will inspire middle and high school students to own their future and seize tomorrow’s opportunities by exposing them to in-demand careers in New Jersey. The Career Pathways Center features a digital platform providing a unique opportunity for 7th to 12th graders in New Jersey to engage in detailed career exploration online, accessible from the JA Education Center and beyond. With more than 140 employers, 70 educational institutions, and 410 careers, this on-demand educational resource will enable students statewide the opportunities to engage in countless hours of exploration as they plan their career pathways.

Known as a long-standing educational solution provider, expanding JA’s portfolio of learning experiences and curriculum by leveraging technology and the JA Education Center to meet the needs of education and business communities of New Jersey is vital.  The Career Pathways Center will connect New Jersey's workforce to its pipeline, while fueling young peoples’ imagination. Thanks to the Career Pathways Center major sponsors Allstate Foundation and PSEG Foundation, as well as additional partners ADP, NJM, Sanofi and Quest Diagnostics, the Center will ultimately provide New Jersey students with a more in-depth opportunity to explore career pathways as well as career clusters to ensure their future success as well as that of the Garden State.
