Middle & high school students want to learn about NJ companies and your world of work! And our educators look to JA to connect their students with career pathways and opportunities that inspire their tomorrows.
New this school year, JA is piloting JA Inspire Virtual, a combination of soft/employability skills lessons with a culminating virtual career expo. Here, middle and high school students throughout the state will use an online digital platform to “visit” the JA Inspire Virtual Career Expo. They will head to the auditorium to hear from a keynote speaker, and into the expo hall to explore participating companies. As they embark on these self-guided tours, students will “meet” company employees in customized exhibit booths from various departments, careers, and stages, who share their story and world of work.
From technology to marketing, finance, engineering, entrepreneurship, legal, AI, cybersecurity, and more, JA Inspire Virtual gives participating companies an opportunity to focus your engagement on what you want young people to know about your world of work, including careers, DEI, internships, and company culture. We need your participation to help give students this first-hand glimpse into your companies. Not only will young people connect education and classroom learning to careers, but they will see themselves as a part of New Jersey’s workforce pipeline as they begin planning for their futures.\
Our goal: To have as many companies & industries represented in the career expo, reinforcing how limitless the opportunities are for our students!
