We are proud to celebrate 100 years as a Mission and look forward to our next 100 years of empowering young people for success. Junior Achievement of New Jersey (JANJ) is committed to remaining on the cutting-edge of youth education with a steadfast belief that career readiness is the key link to the future success of our students and our state's economy. Thus, we are embarking on a Centennial Campaign to raise $1,000,000 to develop a Career Pathways Center (CPC), ensuring the sustainability of JA's career readiness programs.
JANJ has launched a a multi-faceted Centennial Campaign, including a capital project to build the JA Career Pathways Center, two special events—Taste of the Decades and New Jersey Business Hall of Fame, and a Centennial Tree of Giving for individual contributors.
Designed and fabricated by JA students, the Centennial Tree of Giving seeks to grow our individual investors, further diversifying JA’s fundraising and ensuring our sustainability for the next 100 years.
Make a one-time donation or gift made through monthly installments which will be represented in perpetuity at the JA Education Center with corresponding leaf sizes.
Donations to JANJ of $25,000 or more can be made within a 5-year period through annual pledge installments, and will be recognized with a unique feature on the Centennial Tree of Giving. As with all individual gifts to JA, corporate matching gifts are included in the donor’s total giving.
With statewide school district closures, New Jersey's educational landscape has shifted significantly to implementing remote learning.
In response to the growing needs as a result of COVID-19, JANJ has created a campaign to support our children, families, schools, and educators in this new educational landscape, and provide meaningful opportunities for our volunteers and corporate partners to give back.
Join JANJ and the New Jersey Department of Education for a collaborative Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Key Skills for Success - a virtual workshop for New Jersey Educators to meet challenges with solutions and lead our students into the future.
Two Virtual Workshops are available:
Thursday, 1/28/2021 @ 3pm—4:30 pm
Friday, 1/29/2021 @ 9:30 am—11am
The New Jersey Business Hall of Fame™ is established to recognize icons of commerce and industry. The criteria for laureate selection include a demonstration of business excellence, courageous thinking and acting, inspired leadership and community mindedness. These icons of business are exemplary role models for future generations.
